First Day of Traveling to Barcelona

As you can see from Ethan's wonderful sleeping position, you can tell that we are all quite tired. As Sam so eloquently said "I've only slept three hours in the past 36 hours", you can only guess how we felt knowing that as soon as we arrived in Barcelona, we would be touring the Las Ramblas. After getting over the initial shock we finally started to enjoy touring around Barcelona! We saw great people and awesome street vendors. It was a successful afternoon!

We made it and I'm trying to figure out the Internet here. Everyone's having fun, eating and shopping.

When will you hear from me?

I will be sending an email through the eftours website. please dont look for it until around midnight. when we arrive we will have to wait for the other school to arrive in Barcelona. They are taking a later flight. They are another Aacps school.

Picasso was from Malaga. There will be free time to see the Picasso museum. It's a very nice museum. It's small, but it takes you from his childhood to his adult years. Picasso is one of the many modern artistic geniuses from Spain. I recommend going to the Picasso Museum during free time.

Almost time!

I'm so excited about the trip that we're going to take to Barcelona and Madrid!  I'm looking forward to it because I'm traveling with a group of amazing people.  That makes all the difference in the world.

Are you feeling a little bit nervous?  Please understand that this is normal, specially if you haven't done a lot of traveling.  In the end you will surprise yourself at all of the things that you will experience, the people that you will meet and the sights that you'll see.  You'll be a changed person for the better. You'll have more confidence in yourself and you may even want to do this again.
